The museum for people who don't usually like museums

At the Samurai Museum, expectations and reality are often worlds apart…

Expectation

"Can we go home?"

Text panels and exhibits behind glass.

Tiptoeing through rooms, forbidden to touch.

Reading dull text, and seeing the same objects again and again.

A museum only for fight fans.

Reality

"When will we come back?"

Exciting projections, vivid scenes, and interactive digital objects.

An experience of sound, light, and movement – history with all your senses.

Samurai history told in a way you can feel – not just understand.

A culture of mindfulness – where tea carried as much meaning as the sword.
