The catalogue contains the complete photo series with 14 images as well as explanatory texts on Bushidō and the individual scenes. In the series the artist presents the seven virtues of Bushidō - righteousness, heroic bravery, compassion, courtesy, sincerity, honour, loyalty - based on the book "Bushido: The Soul of Japan" by the Japanese author Nitobe Inazō (1862-1933). Historical events and legends, warriors, deities and mythical figures are staged using original objects from the Peter Janssen Collection. The photo series "Die 7 Tugenden.
