well as explanatory texts on Bushidō and the individual scenes. In the series
the artist presents the seven virtues of Bushidō - righteousness, heroic bravery,
compassion, courtesy, sincerity, honour, loyalty - based on the book
"Bushido: The Soul of Japan" by the Japanese author Nitobe Inazō
(1862-1933). Historical events and legends, warriors, deities and mythical
figures are staged using original objects from the Peter Janssen Collection. The photo series "Die 7 Tugenden. The 7 Virtues" was created in close collaboration
