Tea Gathering Special Collaboration
18.07.2025 | 14:00-17:00
Since February, we’ve been hosting monthly tea gatherings led by the esteemed Japanese tea master, Atsuko. In July, we are excited to welcome a special guest, Chinese tea master Kwok Ying von Beuningen (Joyce), for a collaborative tea gathering.
In this unique collaboration, you will experience two tea traditions, exploring the similarities and differences that make each tradition special.
As Joyce beautifully says, “Through practicing tea, we learn to appreciate beauty in and through tea, and eventually find our own way to express our gratitude towards nature.” We look forward to welcoming you to this special tea experience.

dokidoki – The sound of hearts
In Japan, the term “dokidoki” means “I love you” on social media.
The word dokidoki describes the sound of a rapidly beating heart.
Konrad Bösherz reads love poems from Japan in dialog with the Marketing Specialist Fang Ren, fluent in Japanese.
This special event will be shown exclusively during the Long Night of Museums on the screen of the historic Nō stage.
